Job Description: Manage and own the entire month, quarter and year-end closing process and prepare schedule for expenses, fixed assets, revenue, etc. for regions/ countries which have been assigned to. Review and approve revenue journal entries and relating reconciliations General accounting and consolidation (GL, Revenue and AR reserves, Accruals, Cash, and Fixed Assets, key balance sheet reserves, roll-forwards and account reconciliations) Design and implement business processes to ensure efficiency and compliance; working with region/ country finance and other function/ department departments when reviewing new accounting programs; and assisting in resolution of accounting problems arising between internal departments. Review of daily BRS and ensure periodical accounts payable reconciliation process Review of monthly/ quarterly/ yearly financial statements and perform variance analysis and investigate differences, for regions/ countries which have been assigned to.   Communicate accounting results by explaining variances and anomalies in account balances; determining accounting influence on future proposals, and discussing the effects with management and the Finance Team; Manage the account reconciliation process by providing training and guidance to team members; reviewing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, resolving issues or questions about unusual account balances; driving process improvements for the account reconciliation process; and communicating reconciliation results to the Corporate Reporting team and/or superiors.   Manage the preparation of schedule for financials, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial audits by analyzing financial data; comparing data to third-party information, budgets, or actual results; researching balance sheet & GL account variances; managing and preparing financial information for audits; and participating in meetings with other functional groups and external auditors Provide supervision and development opportunities for the team by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Manage the preparation of audit schedules Prepare financial information in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements by assisting in the research of regulatory changes; and ensuring the company financial statements are compliant with GAAP. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; Drive automation of manual processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes Policy and procedures development and documentation Engage with external auditors as needed
Target candidate and required skill set: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. CA  is strongly preferred. 4-5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail is critical to this role Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Has the ability to interact with all levels of management Experience analyzing large amounts of financial data Must have demonstrated presentation skills and able to easily present financial data in a clear and concise manner Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills Excellent organizational skills EPR experience is required. Oracle experience will be preferred.
Target experience and expected remuneration: 4- 5 years relevant experience (with 2 years of 2-4 member team leading) with company which has import of more than more than USD 150K OR AED 560K or INR 10.5 Mn. (#)  Good candidate with relevant exposure and similar industry/ accounting structure (i.e. shares services for multiple reporting location) can be remunerated on slightly higher salary also.
