Job Purpose

 

To support and guide the visual merchandising teams to deliver an exceptional range and

presentation of products across regions; maximizing sales while always maintaining the

 

brand image and company vision

 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Financial

 

 

Manage visual merchandise budgets efficiently by ensuring a minimization of costs

 

through effective allocation of resources in the region

 

Operational

 

 

Ensure the store visual merchandising team delivers a standout shopping experience for customers everywhere


Carry out an implementation of branding guidelines and sustaining exceptional levels of visual presentation


Plan seasonal store layouts and promotional grids; present visually effective windows and in store displays


Plan, manage and assist country heads with new store openings, renovations and modernization of the regions layouts


Adapt and implement the visual merchandising season and promotional look book in stores and ensure decor meets the standards in line with policy and procedures 


Visit  stores regularly to assess and drive improvements in visual standards and identify potential sales opportunities by accessing key business information and reviewing performance


Benchmark with competition, review customer feedback and take appropriate action to boost sales through meetings with corporate managers and country heads 

Compare performance of visuals in stores against set sales targets and look to enhance conversion ratio and average basket size

Maintain a clear understanding of the respective regions regarding customer preferences, culture and carry out visual presentations in accordance with fashion and bestselling products specific to the regions

People Management

 

Coach and develop the visual merchandising team as well as conduct regular briefings so that all members understand and are aligned with the company strategy

Education and Certification

 

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Retail/ Fashion

 

Knowledge and Skills

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong Organizational and Communications Skills Cross Cultural Competence

Graphic Design Skills/ Photoshop

Basic understanding of Social Media Platforms

 

Experience

 

4 to 6 years prior experience working in the Retail industry, preferably in Visual Merchandising, Buying and/ or Planning

Experience and knowledge of working in GCC is an advantage
