Job Purpose
Key Accountabilities
To oversee
all installation, repair
and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities
Operational
To fully comply with the Civil Defense license
requirements
Maintaining a proper track of all the maintenance activities, and fire extinguishers among
the country
To maintain
a record of all the company's vehicles, assuring a timely renewal of permits and a regular
service maintenance is conducted
Conduct regular
shops' AC services
and repairs maintenance by the maintenance team or by outsource
technicians
Arrange
spare parts replacement and acquire approvals and process payments Arrange
for all the pest control
schedules for the country, assuring
a regular service
is conducted
To take
full responsibility in providing a regular service maintenance for the company accommodations, including controlling the budget, managing
stock levels and ordering supplies, liaising with other
departments within the organization for space
management and hygiene, health and safety regulations are met, carrying
out risk assessments when required
and assure an overall smooth running of the accommodation facilities
Check electrical and hydraulic systems
of buildings to ensure functionality Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
Allocate workload
and supervise upkeep
staff (custodians, janitors
etc.) Control the installation, repair and upkeep of
the company properties, including machines
and mechanical systems
Ability to increase the level of standard implementations in respective area of assignment
People Management
Manage the maintenance technicians: help with problem•solving field, participating in the
recruitment of operators with drivers, integrating new employees, passing on
the necessary know•how, evaluating
skills and training requirements
Schedule, train,
supervise and motivate
employees for the maintenance department Set targets for improvement
and monitoring the results
Organize and coordinate information meetings with the team as a whole
Product and Process
Improvement
Establish preventive maintenance programs, procedures and guidelines for implementation
Establish and monitor the indicators relating
to maintenance activities
Regularly
introduce cost saving initiatives to reduce the cost adhered for repairing and maintenance

Education and Certification
Bachelor's Degree,
ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge
of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality practices and policies Good usage of MS Office,
Business Management Systems
and Computer Aided
Facilities Management Systems
Solid
understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems
etc. Must have carried out
corrective maintenance, anticipating problems, machine breakdown analysis, overhauls, modifications
Working knowledge
of facilities machines
and equipment Experience in planning maintenance operations
Experience
A minimum
of 5 years experience in a facilities management environment with
experience of technically complex and multi•disciplined sites
At least 2 years in a managerial role, should have experience in putting processes
and strategies in place
