call put business margin query
Dear Anushka hi this is Samir Zaveri ( cell 8080704539) from Mumbai ,As per our whats app discussion , i am interested in trading for mthly brokerage plan but before going further i need to clarify Margin requirements at your end for NIFTY weekly calls and puts as the margins have reduced drastically after Jun 1 2020 for covered calls and puts we are into the business of earning time value by selling calls and puts, during the day and at the close , to safeguard overnight risk we buy calls and puts of 200-300 points away. pl note , we buy the said calls and puts in the closing hrs only which results into covered calls and put at the end of the day let me give u an example we have sold strike price 10300 Nifty call and 10300 put ( 2 separate trades ) for july 2 weekly expiry , the said call and put will remain sold during major part of the day..till say 3.15-3.20 pm and then we buy 10600 call and 10000 put to safeguard overnight position ( we have our own calculations to work on thes
