 Key accountabilities

To assist the planning team in finalizing the department planning activities including pre. season planning, in season planning and post season analysis

 

Operational

 

Assist the planning team in developing a comprehensive preseason planning strategy that identifies opportunities and risks at the corporate level, and assist the planners in creating the in season strategy and the post season review


Assist the planners in creating the preseason growth sheet as per the department guidelines


Update the records daily with the category analysis, including Sales, margins, intakes, order status, etc.


Provide analysis and research to support the creation of the assortment matrix and buy plans


Evaluate purchase order placement activity as well as the maintenance and revisions made to purchase orders


Assist the planners in markdown analysis, considering the category performance to push sales or to liquidate stocks


Plan & Generate "WSSI" open to buy after adjusting sales and Inventory in consultation with Planner and Buyer for assigned area


Analyze historic department /category performance and identify missing opportunities for future seasons, plus running the sales through report


Review geographic store opportunities; Partners with Buying and stores on potential adjustments, to assure the availability of preferred stocks per location to decrease loss of sales opportunities


Partner with store allocator and Retail to analyze opportunities in store performance and recommends changes to achieve stores sales/turn/gross margin goals across assigned areas

Coordinate with Planners and Inventory controller, marketing (Retail) and Visual Merchandising team regarding the season merchandise promotion and highlighting 'In Season' Merchandise
