The individual in this role will be responsible
for supporting network infrastructure/Windows domain area.
·
Responsible for providing support to end-user
including fault diagnosis and resolution of Microsoft Windows OS
desktops/laptops and Microsoft server platforms, broadband fault diagnosis,
reporting, tracking and keeping end-users updated.
·
Application support on products and services
including email, web, router, firewall, and DVR/NVR configuration, ETP &
Microsoft AX configuration.
·
Diagnostic and resolve end-users’ problems
maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries and
adhering to all service management principles.
·
Establishes network by evaluating network
performance issues including availability, utilization and latency; planning
and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of
equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections
and firewalls.
·
Maintains network performance by performing
network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting
network problems;
·
Secures network by developing network access,
monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
·
Designing and conducting training programs;
providing references and support for end-users.
·
Upgrades network by conferring with vendors;
developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.
·
TCP/IP and Networking: Design, configuration,
troubleshooting. Routing Protocol (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, and RIP), and VoIP.
·
Maintaining Cisco Routers (1900 Series ),Cisco
Switches (2900 Series), Avaya IP Office and Cyberoam UTMs
·
Implementing Wireless solution for RDC.
Responsible for End to End solution.
·
Implementing QoS using FIFO, Weighted Fair
Queuing, Priority Queuing, and Custom Queuing.
·
Implementing traffic filters using Standard and
Extended access-lists, Distribute-Lists, and Route Maps.
·
Implementing of AD, DHCP, DNS, FTP, SFTP
·
Take ownership of user problems and be
pro-active when dealing with user issues.
·
Log all calls on our ticketing system.
·
Maintain a log of any software or hardware
problems detected.
·
To escalate more complex calls to the relevant
IT Support member in Corporate.
·
To escalate external technical support where
problems cannot be resolved in house.
·
Supporting stores on infrastructure issues on
immediate basis wherever and whenever required.
·
Prepare daily report tracking system like Sales
/Attendance /Customer counting.
·
Maintain the escalation matrix of the calls.
·
Proactively prepare the hardware inventory.
·
Need to coordinate with IT-Assistant
/Coordinators (if any) regarding all kind of patches like ETP etc… to get it
fully operational
This position must have a very good technical knowledge on
network technologies/windows domain and in-depth troubleshooting and problem
finding skills.
·
Knowledgeable in Networking Technologies:
Routing, Switching, Firewall, VPN, Wireless, WAN Optimization.
·
Knowledgeable in MPLS & BGP protocols.
·
The individual in this role should be
well-versed to reach the depth of the problem to determine the root cause.
·
The individual in this role should be able to
monitor network performance and suggests performance tuning parameters.
·
The candidate should have understanding and
knowledge on various techniques to gather data from different sources to do the
trend analysis on reoccurring network incidents.
·
The Candidate should be able to perform
proactive problem management analysis to reduce the future network incidents /
major incidents.
·
The candidate should have hands-on experience on
Cisco, HP, Motorola and 3Com based wired and wireless network.
·
The candidate should have worked on Cyberoam UTM, Cisco routers & switches, and
load balancers and Windows/SQL Servers.
·
The candidate should have good understanding on
various networking/windows tools to determine traffic on network and its
performance.
·
The candidate should be able to support the
position per information and solutions based on Information Technology
Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.
·
The candidate should learn and put into practice
all the new processes quickly.
·
The candidate must possess the best teamwork
related skills.
·
The candidate should be flexible working in
shifts if required and should be able to coordinate with vendors/external
service provider to determine the root cause of the problem.
·
The Candidate should collaborate with different
teams in improving service availability and better user experience.
·
The candidate should have good English skills
having exposure working in multinational team environment.

4.Presentation preparation ( weekly assisting country
managers )
5.Stock Count ( once in 6 months)
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of six years demonstrated and relevant work
experience in the industry.
Minimum four years direct experience as Microsoft
Windows/Network Administrator
The candidate should be Cisco Certified and Windows
Certified
Cyberoam certifications would be value additions.
Experience in providing IT support to enterprise
environments and an interest in cross-platform networking, Internet
technologies.
Excellent communication skills, able to work as part of the
team.
Time management. Keen to learn - through on the job
training, formal training and personal study.
Available during off business hours(if situation arises)
