 Position Profile

Job Purpose

To support Senior Internal Auditor to establish control of process and procedures and standards in the region through field visits as directed by Head of Internal Audit / Audit Manager.

Job details

 Conduct store audits to identify problem areas or procedural deficiencies, cash audits and deposit investigations to fully account for store cash

 Preparation of timely , accurate monthly store audit reports

 Investigate and report known or suspected internal theft, external theft, or vendor fraud as and when directed.

 Identify and report merchandise or stock shrinkage in the store.

 Perform inventory investigations in response to shrinkage results outside of acceptable ranges

 Maintain databases such as bad check logs, reports on multiple offenders, documentation of all loss prevention activity, security-related incidents or investigations

 Maintain loss-prevention exception reports and cash discrepancies to ensure adherence to guidelines

 Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures for loss prevention, physical security, or risk management, safe shopping concerns at stores and working environment at stores as well corporate

 Perform and report covert surveillance of areas susceptible to loss, such loading docks, distribution centers-CDC and RDC

 Complete paperwork procedures and systems to prevent unaccepted deviations

 Continuous fire risk assessment and reporting to ensure the store is compliant to the fire safety policy

 Prepare timely and accurate reports - shop grading and warehouse grading reports for management review

 Conduct Finance audits for Credit card reconciliation , bank reconciliations, etc. as directed by the Head Internal Audit

 Keep abreast with current developments that may affect audit and the latest audit techniques, methods, tools, and procedures, IT Surveillance.

Person profile

 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance (Pursuing CA / Inter CA)

 3-5 years inRetail industry in audit department of a mid-size organization

 Good grasp of working, process, procedures  of the mid-size fashion retail organization
