FINANCIAL
 To negotiate with approved /proposed suppliers (on an yearly basis or as and when they are to be
listed with a view to secure other incomes) that will provide the right item with the perfect mix
between quality, quantity and price in order to provide the relevant sections all stores the right
tool to respond to our customers demand.
 To ensure achievement of the agreed other incomes target in order to reach the financial
objectives related to sales, profitability and margin in line with the overall Company Strategy.
 MERCHANDISE
 To set up, review, monitor and upgrade recipes on a regular basis.
 To set up, review, monitor and upgrade raw materials on a regular basis.
 To set up, review, monitor and upgrade ingredient list on a regular basis.
 To ensure that our range is ideal and purely reflects the need of the customers.

 To ensure that product displayed is in line with the authorized planograms and within the Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs), in adherence to the respective Food Control Authority / Municipality
Codes in order to ensure the highest standards of quality and hygiene for the valued customers.
 To ensure right selection of items in the following:
a) External range needed by our customers is negotiated in sufficient quantities to fit to their
demand and regularly replenished.
b) Internal range needed by our customers is produced in sufficient quantities with the correct &
strict adherence to right ingredients, correct / standard recipes, and quality standards and
regularly replenished.
 To continuously look at creating, implementing, monitoring and upgrading existing / new range and
packaging range with a view to provide the customers with best options.
 To regularly carry out audit visits to all Country stores and report to the CMD Merchandise
Manager-Fresh Food / Fresh Food Dept. Heads/ Store Manager/ Operations Manager across all
stores of any facts or non-conformity to agreed planograms or their implementation which may
affect the performance of the business.
 To visit the relevant Competitor stores and report any information relevant to new market
developments/ Competitor strategy that may hold significance to the company business

To supervise all activities in attendance for all new store launches to assist all relevant staff for a
smooth and effective store launch.
MARKETING/ ADVERTISING
 To regularly carry out promotions, tasting and events in the relevant stores in order to provide
customers with better and new options.
 To select products for leaflets, and to submit the request to the Merchandise / Marketing Manager
with the right description, price and picture.
HUMAN/ MATERIAL/ EQUIPMENT
 To organize in co-ordination with the Group Training Manager regular product training for Staff and
Managers for them to upgrade their skills as per the needs / areas identified for better
performance.
 To provide input into identification of any potential staff member / Supervisor/ Manager & above
for upgradation to the next level or for further evolution within the organization.
 To provide relevant input / suggestions related to review and upgradation of staff uniforms.
 To provide relevant input / recommendation into selection of material, equipment, assets or
machinery (small or heavy).
