Job Summary

• WMS Supervisor/ Specialist is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration & support of WMS areas to meet the business needs of in the Jazirat Sama Fashion Company ( Red Tag)

• Working closely with our internal customers to deliver, maintain and troubleshoot and enhance WMS functionality

• WMS Specialist adds value to the RDC operations through their knowledge of WMS modules and its integration with other modules ,ERPs etc

Key Responsibilities

·         Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing & solutions in the

 WMS -Infor

·         Good skills in configuring Material Master, Info records, Release Procedures, Pricing, Inventory Management, Reservation, Transfer Posting, Stock Transfer and Physical Inventory process, valuation and batch management etc., Order management

·         Should have good master data management skills including developing and working with data migration tools.

·         Should be able to write functional specifications in detail.

·         Good skills in configuring warehouse management structures – storage types, storage bins etc.

·         Should have good experience in configuring extending material masters to warehouse management functions , warehouse movements, transfer requirements , transfer orders, goods receipts with inbound  delivery, goods issues with outbound deliveries,

·         Should have functional & technical expertise in picking and packing and handling unit, stock replenishment, fixed bin replenishment, picking strategies- FIFO, LIFO ,Put-away strategies fixed bin, open bin, next empty bin, near bin, inventory processes , storage unit management, Mobile data entry , RF technology and devices, Crossdocking, Yard management

·         Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs

·         Ensure compliance to existing and development of required data and reporting standards.

·         Ensure the integrity of the Warehouse Management & configuration of the system across multiple landscapes.

·         Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.

·         Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs  and process

model

·         Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities.

·         Demonstrate proof of concept & assist in training activities

·         Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.

·         Work with the Service Desk to facilitate incident & problem resolution, software bugs.

·         Keep abreast of releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.

·         Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments

·         May lead and coordinate the work of a small team

·         Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing
