M. Sc. (Organic Chemistry - Fats & Oils)

Should have envaible knowledge in organic chemistry based process + development & planning skills

Have at least 3 years experience in successful development of finished products (range > personal care, healthcare - topical,

Household products, Lubricants, Rust Preventives, Leather, Metalworking, Metal Polishing, etc. <).

Should be stationed in Vapi, for ease of commuting.

R&D Timings : Reporting by 0900 am, system shutdown 07:00 pm (Weekly off is Thursdays).

Option to work part time is open for highly experienced / qualified retired candidates.

Will report to top management in Mumbai (but work closely with existing Production & QA/QC team) and be responsible for:

- Studying our current product range promptly.

- Research and analysis of new innovative, products + blends AS PER prevailing / new trends.

- Identifying new bulk uses for all our Products.

- Regulatory /FDA knowledge also for retail products.

- Improvement in current process (improvement in yield/s, lower use of input/s, cost reduction possibilities)

- New Technologies and processes for producing new products (as guided by Management)

- ETP related R&D (reduction in use of water, processing water from effluent for complete re-use + recycling, solvent recovery from effluent)

- Creation of new documents / marketing tools (Product Data Sheets, MSDS, Stability Data, Formulations, Uses, etc).

- Registration of R&D Dept with Govt and ensuring smooth overall operations

- Semi Automization of process studies and feasibility

- Optimum utilization of all P&M and idle capacities

- Any other responsibilities relating to research, innovation, development; process/projects/ideas/thoughts

Should be able to travel economically and occasionally to Mumbai HO &/or if and when required to other places (work / task related) within India
