Job Purpose

Understand the business needs of Co's customer groups and identify how to best meet those needs through information technology solutions. This includes partnering with business heads to understand their Business Strategy, define the technology and capability roadmap that would enable the strategy.   To plan, develop, deploy and manage IT Infra Operations & manage hybrid Integration Architecture, including Service Desk support across the entire organization, ensuring coordination of all operational services, with the aim to formulate and review of strategies towards achieving customer service goals as committed in the Service Level Objectives in close liaison with business users.   Develop and implement medium to long term strategy for all infrastructure technology areas absorbing data growth of 20% year over year without increase of headcount by introduction of automation, process- and productivity improvements.

 

Key Accountability

Work alongside other cross-functional senior level managers effectively developing, managing and prioritizing conflicting business demand and matching it to limited resources.   Developing senior relationships both internally and externally with external service providers, other business leaders and stakeholders.   Key strategic partner with IT teams (Enterprise Architecture, PMO) to evaluate and qualify potential specific technology solutions.   Responsible for providing appropriate system administration, technical support, including Problem and Incident Management as infrastructure experts, and project support for efficient functioning of the relevant infrastructure technologies to various sections in IT Management of Hybrid integration system architecture of Retail applications for the Organization o    with applications expertise of ERP (Oracle Retail), o    Logistics (Infor WMS), o    Analytics (Cognos,MSBI), o    Data Warehousing (Netezza) o    POS (Xstore), o    Finance (EBS) o    Stores and DC (Planning & Buying (OMFP), o    CRM (ORCE,Capillary), o    OMS (Order Management System).   To manage Infrastructure team who are responsible for managing Network Administration, System Administration, Security Administration & Database Administration.   End to end responsibility of conceptualization, planning, development and implementation of various IT infra systems and processes for all Retail applications in the organization.   Hands on experience in Infrastructure Migration impacting multiple application systems, Infrastructure Architecture, Storage, Back-up and Server consolidation, Data Centre Services & Virtualization, Disaster Recovery Management.   Responsible for all contracts & procurement for server, network, storage infrastructure, technical field support, disaster recovery services, virtualization etc.  and manage compliance.   Vendor Management & challenging vendors to be aligned to project schedules as per business requirements.   Prepare technical plan & strategy for business buy-ins on Infra Products/Projects/Services.

Qualification and experience

Qualification BTech, ITIL V3, MCSE, CCNA   Experience   Above 10 years of total IT Service Delivery and Infrastructure Management in Fashion Retail Industry.       (preferably from middle east). Strong facilitation and collaboration experience, coordinating across other Heads of functions to create an overall IT Portfolio   Knowledge & Skills   Experience of setting up Hybrid Integration Architecture (ERP, WMS, Merchandise Planning, POS, DW, Analytics, CRM, OMS etc ) of Fashion Retail applications for the Organization Deployment experience of Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure (AD, Virtualisation, firewalls, IaaS). Hosting Collaboration Tech (MS office365 suite), Social technology platforms. Effective Customer / User adoption of IT infra services. Work experience on Helpdesk and ticket management, executing contracts, Systems Integration, Technical Support, Team Management, Vendor Management, Budgeting, Omni-Channel Retailing. Possess deep understanding of IT concepts including: Perimeter Security, Extranet and Remote Access Solution design, Endpoint Security, Network Convergence and PKI.   Good to have: Experience on Practical application of AI, ChatBot, RPA tech and blockchain.   Functional Skills Technology Infrastructure Management, IoT, Solution Delivery & Technology Implementation; Client, Vendor and Stakeholder Relationship; Infrastructure Delivery Project Management; Performance Test Management; Risk/Issues Management; Service Management (ITIL); Technical Architecture & Infra Roadmap, eCommerce Infra platforms, High availability of Technical Infrastructure pan GCC. Responsible for approx. 5000 user infrastructure running 24 x 7 with limited resources with an availability of SLA more than 99%.   Technical Skills Intranet /Extranet setups, Infrastructure Design & Delivery; Datacenter Transformation; Business Continuity & DR; Server & Storage Technologies; OS (Linux, UX, Windows); Oracle & Microsoft Database Technologies; Network Architectures & Technologies; Virtualization & Private Cloud; Performance & Scalability; IT Security Strategies & Testing; Cloud Strategic platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.), Fortinet / CISCO Firewall etc.   Preferences Age-group approx. 35 years with good command over English and Hindi.
