Finance Manager - JD ( location: Dubai)
Purpose of the Job
To be responsible for accounting operations of the investments division, which includes the production of financial reports and maintenance of an accounting records system to establish a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk |
Key Accountabilities
Financial | · Manage the preparation of all financial reports including statements, financial sheets, liquidity and cash flows for the investment division |
Operational | · Ensure the completion of financial statements and analyze actual financial status results in comparison with forecasts · Manage cash flow planning, reporting, controlling and managing funds optimally for investment needs · Ensures the preparation of special statistical reports, detailed cost accounting information, surveys or analyses of a complex and difficult nature for the management · Become the coordination point for authenticating all investment deals that range from real estate, financial instruments, global investments · Report all results of the investments department to showcase financial performance indicators · Roll out a full-fledged accounting system that records and process all related accounting transactions for the investments division · Ensure the accounting system accurately records all financial data and is processed in a timely manner · Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions · Review MIS Reports, financial statements, cash flow analysis, profit and loss statements, analysis of change, currency impact and inflation /deflation · Interprets various accounting data, analyses reports and recommends actions to be taken · Provide support during the annual audit process by working with the auditors to answer queries and provide analysis as required in a timely manner · Comply with all local tax and legal financial reporting, filing and record keeping |
People Management | · Establish clear direction, prioritize tasks, assigns and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow of the department · Provide guidance and ensure that the department complies with BMA;s policies, processes, practices and systems |
